Oral Presentations
Oral presentations will be 10 minutes each plus 2 minutes reserve. After each talk, there will be a 3 minutes timeslot of Q&A. The presentation has to be prepared in either Powerpoint or PDF format. In the presentation room, we will give a standard Windows PC and a wireless presenter. Please make sure that you hand over your presentation to the session chair before the corresponding session begins. You can bring your presentation on one of the following media: USB Flash Drive or USB Hard Drive. You may also check wether your presentation will be presented as supposed (e.g. included video files, fonts, scaling, etc.).
Poster Presentations
The posters are presented in separated poster sessio
ns. During the poster sessions, we will provide poster walls and fixing material. The posters should be attached to the poster wall before the corresponding poster session begins (directly after registration or during lunch time). The size of the poster should not exceed A0 (84,1 x 118,9 cm) in vertical/portrait orientation, not landscape (cf. example in the picture).
Important: Prior to each poster session, there will be poster introductions. During the introduction, the author has not more than one minute to present the poster to the audience. Please send your presentation files with not more the 2 slides to icbem2018@hia.rwth-aachen.de in either Powerpoint or PDF format before the conference by May 21st 2018 at the latest.
