The closest airports are Düsseldorf Airport or Cologne Bonn Airport. We recommend Düsseldorf Airport due to better flight and train connections.
Train directions
There is a direct connection between Düsseldorf Airport and Aachen Hauptbahnhof. The Regional-Express 1 (RE1) travels between 05:32 and 23:32 on a hourly basis. Please note, that the railway station in Düsseldorf is “Düsseldorf Flughafen” and not “Düsseldorf Airport terminal train station”. A SkyTrain connects the Airport with the train station. The train from Düsseldorf Airport to Aachen Hauptbahnhof takes 1:35h.
